The UGL PTA Nominating Committee is in the process of selecting appropriate candidates for all officer positions. Candidates will be considered based on tenure, ability to work well with others, sufficient time to do the job, and must be card-holding members of the UGL PTA. Also, candidates must be enthusiastic and supportive of the PTA, believe in the objects and purposes of the PTA in championing all children, have experience and prior committment to the PTA, and be willing to subordinate personal interest to the interests and well being of the UGL PTA. The Nominating Committee will report on their selections at the February PTA meeting.
Anyone wishing to run for a UGL PTA executive board position from the floor must submit their intention in writing to the executive board by April 21, 2010.
